Good Morning x I'm just popping on here to wish you all a Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year. From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you to each & every one of you for your continued support over the last 12 months, especially the last 3 weeks when I have been laid up with this horrible flu. There are exciting times ahead for Happy Feet in 2026 so keep your eyes peeled for further updates.
I also want to say a HUGE thank you to all the staff for their continued support - I really am blessed with an amazing team.
I know Christmas can also be a lonely time for some people.. please don't feel lonely. We may not be in work physically but you can always pop us a message on here , so please reach out if you need to.
I'm signing off until 5th January, however Joanna & Cerys will be in on 29th December to answer any telephone messages.

Health Update :
I have been totally floored by this current strain of flu. Managed a five minute walk today 💪. I have made the decision to not return to work until January. We have got foot care covered for a couple of days , which means we have had to cancel some appointments..this is not what I wanted to do before Christmas but I have no option. I can only apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and hope you understand x We have new opening hours after Christmas so will post them once they are all finalised. Apologies again xx

A polite request ....
If you have a cold, flu or norovirus can you please rearrange your appointment. What might seem like 'just an appointment ' for you can have consequences for us..I am currently on day 2 of being in bed with heavy cold/flu , we also have an immune compromised member of staff who can't afford to be ill. I'm sorry to rant but this is my third week ( out of four) suffering.

Part-Time Position – Start January 2026
Job Advert: Receptionist (Part-Time)
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and reliable receptionist to join our busy podiatry practice. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare setting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values providing excellent service to both patients and professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner
• Handle telephone and email enquiries efficiently
• Book, amend, and manage patient appointments using our practice management system
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times
• Process payments and issue receipts
• Assist with general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the practice
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
• Assisting the Podiatrist with minor procedures
• Assist in the hygienic sterilisation of equipment

About You
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (desirable, but not essential)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with computers and able to learn new systems quickly
• Professional, courteous, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks

• Hours: 16 Hours per week ( Thursday 3-7pm , Friday 8.15 – 5.00 and Saturday 8.45 – 1.00
• Location: Happy Feet , Church Street Flint
• Start Date: January 2026
• Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
