Today our resident Bee drew the lucky winners of the Easter Hamper Raffle and thanks to her family who donated the handmade hampers and the generosity of our residents, families and friends we raised a fabulous £229.00 which goes towards our Residents Comfort Fun. The lucky winners were Josie’s family, Bee’s granddaughter and Margaret C.
We also had two other lucky winners who managed to pick the winner of the Grand National 🐎 on Saturday. Well done Maureen and Denis 🌟

CC in Bloom 2026 is commencing well with our Gardening Jobs Board. Residents read the list of jobs and then chose their job of choice. As this is an inclusive task as the jobs disappear from the board they will be replaced with more. Hopefully all the residents who wish to take part will have their favourite jobs and our home and gardens will look fabulous

We wrapped up the last of our Easter celebrations today with our monthly Easter themed coffee morning, and what a fantastic time we had! 🐣☕
The room was buzzing with conversation, filled with joyful dancing, cheerful singalongs, plenty of delicious cake, and lots and lots of laughter. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves, making memories, and sharing such positive moments together☺️
A truly fabulous morning that reminded us all that fun, friendship, and a good slice of cake are always the perfect ingredients for a great day! 🎶🍰

Today our residents had lots of Easter fun! Everyone enjoyed opening their little eggs filled with chocolate surprises 🍫🐰 and there were plenty of smiles while posing with our Easter Bunny and our Easter face frame 📸💛

What a cracking afternoon we had today as our residents gathered for some eyes down, Easter inspired bingo fun! 🎉
A big round of applause to our one line winners - Bob, Pat & Jean 👏 and an extra cheer for our full house champions - Rosemary, Susan, and Bob again (someone was definitely on a winning streak today! 😂🏆).
There was laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of Easter cheer all around. It truly was a lovely afternoon filled with fun, smiles, and wonderful memories made together. 💛

Easter time and we got creative and whipped up some delicious Rice Krispie treats using chocolate, marshmallows, Rice Krispies, and colourful rainbow drops! 🍫🌈
Our residents truly brought out their inner chefs, getting hands on, sharing laughs, and enjoying every sticky, chocolatey moment. It was a fantastic afternoon filled with fun, teamwork, and plenty of sweet treats to enjoy together, a perfect way to celebrate the Easter season! 🐣

We will be selling raffle tickets until next weekend and on Monday 13th April we will be announcing the winners. £1.00 each with all the proceeds going towards our Residents Comfort Fund. This morning our residents enjoyed a lovely “Little & Wise” group session, joining in with nursery rhymes they remember so well 🎶 It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter, and familiar songs bringing everyone together.

In the afternoon, we got our hands a little messy in Gardening Club 🌱 Residents planted a variety of seeds including mint, parsley, tomatoes, and radish. We then placed them carefully into the greenhouse, ready to nurture and watch them grow.

A fantastic day filled with music, memories, and meaningful activities 💚
