The most common feedback I get following a sound bath or 1-1 is how well people sleep after a session. Sound therapy helps to calm the mind and regulate the nervous system. This helps with a whole range of symptoms that relate to burnout of which insomnia is a major one. Despite feeling exhausted the mind very often can’t slow down and continues to loop and ruminate. The body cant unwind. It’s still operating on a heightened state of alert and energy. Sound softens the monkey mind. The endless chitchat. The internal monologues. The anxiety and the to do lists. And with that the body feels more ease and comfort and capability to rest, relax and digest.
