What kind of touch are your body & mind need of?
From experience, you might know exactly what works for you, and of course I'm happy to be guided and deliver whatever is requested.
Usually, of course, the type of touch requested is what might be expected to ease muscular tension. Many believe that deep manipulation and pain are beneficial: "No pain, no gain." is frequently assumed. I prefer not to inflict pain because I find that it can increase tension as the receiver protects against it, perhaps involuntarily. Warmth, time, and gentle manipulation can achieve great results and be much more pleasurable than deeper pressure from thumbs, knuckles or elbows.
You might never have received a two hour massage, where the time allows for a more subtle approach. It can bring surprising results for the muscles, stress levels and emotions.
A client once started crying uncontrollably at an early stage of her massage. I said that I was happy to listen if she wanted to talk about what was wrong, but not of course if it was too personal. She said "It's just that I've never been touched with such kindness by a man, without feeling that he expected something in return." I sensed that she was in need of a caring, sensitive touch but perhaps she wasn't expecting it, or was surprised that it should have such a profound effect.
If you would like to explore the benefits of a warmer environment, longer treatment, and the attention of someone who is unlikely to have another client in the same day, please contact me to make an appointment or discuss your needs.
£50 for two hours of professional treatment is a price that, I hope, you'll be able to afford and, afterwards, will feel was excellent value.
