Our aim at Allenbrook is to provide a place that feels like “home” but provides all the care, support and security that is needed for comfortable day to day living. Our staff are well-trained and knowledgeable but just as importantly, friendly and welcoming which helps creates the family atmosphere for which the Home has become known.

As many of you know, we recently lost our great friend and work colleague Dave Hippey-Telfer after a sudden illness.

Dave joined us in 2016 and made a mark on everyone he met during his time at Allenbrook. Always kind and quick to put others at ease, he was an exceptional individual with a mischievous sense of fun and a flair for putting a smile on the faces of those around him.

Dave, we’ll miss you, but you’ll always be in our thoughts ❤️

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Bob on completing his Chef Diploma this month! 👨‍🍳🥘🌭🍲

Bob's been with us since 2011, originally as a carer but also working on maintenance, in the garden and as a kitchen assistant before developing his career as a chef!

We love to see our team learning and developing new skills- fantastic work Bob! 👏🙌👍
