Loving Kindness - Metta
Have you heard about the Walk For World Peace? Buddhist monks walking for 120 days, from Fort Worth, Texas, to Washington, D.C (2,300 miles) accompanied by their loyal dog, Aloka to raise awareness and promote peace.
Mettā (Loving-Kindness) is a key Buddhist concept - Cultivating compassion for all beings; Metta is the nourishment that sustains the world. Everyone across the world is invited to join a collective loving-kindness meditation on Wednesday 11 February 2026 between the hours of 21.30-00.30 (12 Feb).
Uniting together to make a significant positive effect on our world. When thousands of hearts meditate together in the same moment, our loving-kindness ripples outward, touching hearts, healing wounds, and planting seeds of peace everywhere. How does this resonate with you? Would you like to join me at 21.30 on Wednesday 11 February for a metta mindfulness practise? Please contact me for connection details.
Participate in the Walk for Peace Global Loving-kindness Meditation with the Kadampa Center community! Feel free to come and go as needed anytime between 4:00 and 6:30 pm. All are welcome!
