Are you taking part in Movember, the movement to raise awareness of men's health? One condition that can affect anybody with a prostate gland is prostate cancer. According to the Charity, prostate Cancer UK, one in 8 men in the UK will develop this cancer. The risks of developing the condition increase with age, if you have a family history of the condition and if you belong to certain ethnic groups.
If caught early this cancer can be well treated. Would you know what signs to watch out for?

This year is the 10th anniversary of Medicines Safety Week. This year it is being held 3 - 9 November. It is a global campaign to raise awareness of medicine safety and this years theme is 'We can all help make medicines safer' . The aim is to encourages clinicians and patients to report side effects of medication using the the Yellow Card scheme. Anybody can report an adverse reaction.
