Driver position

Are you a kind, compassionate, and reliable individual who wants to make a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for dedicated home carers to join our growing team and provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes.
We offer a competitive pay rate of £13.50 per hour. (£27.00 per hour on some public holidays) Our staff benefit from being paid for an entire shift (i.e. your rostered from 07.15 to 12.15 and your 11am visit is in hospital. You are paid for 5 hours not 4 hours for having a gap. Your base is Forfar therefore you are paid travel time to your first Client).

Every second weekend is guaranteed time off.
Additional extra shifts are also available to those who wish to pick up additional hours. These are not mandatory.

About the Role:
As a Home Carer, you will support individuals with a range of needs, helping them to live independently and comfortably in their own homes. Duties may include:
• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Medication prompts
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Light housekeeping tasks
• Companionship and emotional support
• Supporting with mobility and general wellbeing
• Promoting independence and dignity

What we’re looking for:
• A genuine passion for helping others
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability, patience, and a caring nature
• Good communication and time management skills
• Being someone’s reason to smile every day
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training is provided
Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• PVG check
• SSSC registration within 3 months of taking up the post
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred, we do have work vehicles for some routes)
