🧊 Cold Water Therapy Instructor 🥶

This course includes a 1 day Wild Swimming Safety course, which covers theory and practice in the river. You’ll learn to identify hazards, complete dynamic assessments, and perform low-risk rescues. The following day, you’ll attend a therapeutic Cold Water Facilitator session. This session will cover the medical benefits and complications of cold water immersion and how to manage safe cold water immersion both physically and psychologically.

These courses have been developed by us and Kevin O'Neil of - this course is certified by Rescue 3 Europe to cover all the requirements people may encounter when taking people into cold water.

Last month we had the absolute pleasure of providing safety cover for this special section of the ARWS - Adventure Racing World Series ITERA Expedition Race 2025!

We utilise our team of highly trained and experienced staff to cover safety at outdoor events such as cross adventure races, triathlons, charity events, cycling events and festivals.

🚨 Our next Rescue 3 Europe Safe Working near Water course will be held at our HQ Earnhill House on 22nd October.

This is a great course designed for people tasked with working near water and who will be issued with lifejackets but will not be expected to intentionally enter the water, eg EA, SEPA, NRW personnel, construction industry workers, road and bridge maintenance workers.

We had a great day with Council Bridge Engineers and Surveyors who have completed a Safe Working Near Water course at to learn how to keep themselves and their colleagues safe! 🛟👷🔧

It was great to discuss the work they do and come up with good safety solutions, training and risk awareness of what they will face.
