It's that time of year - the change of a season often makes us think of changes we might want to make too. And September still has that 'back to school' vibe that creates an exciting engergy (or is that just me?!).
So if you are thinking about how to help your body and mind, come and try a yoga class. Build some strength and flexibility, and enjoy some peace and focus.
Men's class: Mondays, 14.30-15.30
Ladies class: Fridays, 11.00-12.15
Both classes upstairs at the British Legion in Fowey.
If you haven't been to a yoga class before:
- it may feel a bit intimidating to walk through the door, but my classes are perfect for beginners, friendly and accessible for everyone
- no special clothes or equipment are needed. Come comfortable (I have a spare mat if you let me know you would like to borrow it)
- if you think everyone in the room will know what they are doing and you'll stick out like a sore thumb, I promise that's not the case. I teach in a way that means everyone can experience a pose.
- you may think you are too old, too stiff, too inexperienced to start now. But if not now, when? Being healthier means doing something a bit different (and it doesn't have to be yoga. But yoga *is* great!).
