November's hush, the eleventh day,
A moment when the world stands still to pray.
The silence falls, profound and deep,
While hallowed, solemn memories we keep.
The poppy bright, a splash of red,
For every life that bravely bled.
A gentle sigh, a whispered name,
In honor of their enduring flame.
