Happy New Year lovely people ✨
I hope your festive break was full of good company, cosy moments, and a little well-earned time just for you.

As you can see… ❄️ I’m properly snowed in, so rather than rush or battle the elements, I’m giving us all an extra week to rest, reset and move gently at home.

All classes will now resume w/b Monday 12th January 2026 ✨

In the meantime, I’d love to see how you’re spending these snowy days

Our final classes of 2025 are here, the perfect mix of good energy, big exhale moments, and the kind of community that makes this season feel lighter.

December doesn’t need to feel frantic.
You’re allowed to choose steadiness, softness, and a pace that actually feels good in your body.

I’m leaning into the things that anchor me this week... a little yoga (obviously), a few pages in my journal (I’m loving being back in the habit), and trying out a couple of new recipes just for the joy of it. And of course, a blustery beach walk with my dog…

winter is secretly my favourite time to be there. All wrapped up, cold salty wind on my face, frosty sand under my boots, it’s the kind of quiet that settles everything inside.

“There’s a big difference between a dream and a goal… and I accidentally proved it to myself this week.”

On Tuesday after class we ended up chatting about goals ... the kind of things you wish you could do versus the things you’re actually working towards.

For me? I’ve always loved the idea of being able to knock out 10 pull-ups or hold a beautiful handstand. Proper bucket-list strength things. But they were never goals… just nice little daydreams I’d dip into now and then.

I’ve never trained for them.
I’ve never been consistent.
I know the drills - I just don’t do them.

But this week I thought, “Let’s just see where I’m at.”

So I tried my pull-ups on the bar at home. Wide-grip? Nope. But reverse grip? I managed almost THREE good reps… and I genuinely had no idea I had that in me. I wasn’t training for it. I wasn’t tracking anything. I wasn’t even thinking about it as a goal.

Then I tried my handstands last night… and again, I surprised myself. My alignment is better than it was. I actually caught a handstand - just for a blink - but it was there. And I haven’t done a single handstand drill in months.

Here’s what this week taught me:
If you never check in, you never know how close you actually are.
And sometimes you’re closer than you think.

So now I’m turning those “one day… maybe…” dreams into actual, tiny, non-negotiable practices. Nothing wild. Nothing daily. Just once a week, consistent, intentional work layered onto the yoga and gym routine I already do.

Because if I’ve made progress without even trying… imagine what happens when I do try.

I know, it's been a long week already, and it's only Wednesday

One of the things I hear most after class ... “I get the best nights sleep after yoga.”
