🌞🌿 A Lovely Walk Around Fraserburgh 🌞🌿

What a beautiful day for a stroll! Three of our lovely ladies, Sandra, Anne and Margaret, enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine on a gentle walk around Fraserburgh.

Wrapped up nice and warm, they chatted away about the gorgeous flowers appearing in people’s gardens and how everything is beginning to bloom.

It’s wonderful to be more in the community, and now that the weather is improving, there are plenty of smiles and happy moments all around.

A big thank you to our fantastic colleagues for supporting such a lovely outing. 🌟

🕺💃 Boogie in the Bar – Another Fantastic Afternoon! 💃🕺

A huge thank you to Boogie in the Bar, hosted at the leisure centre and funded by the Vintage Car Rally, for another absolutely brilliant afternoon! 🎉💛

Our ladies had the best time dancing and singing along to Laird’s Disco — they were non‑stop on the dance floor, smiling from start to finish. The energy, music and atmosphere were just perfect. 🎶

We always enjoy these afternoons and truly appreciate the warm welcome we receive each time. We’re already looking forward to joining you again next month! 🌟

🌼👧👵 A Wonderful Afternoon with Playbarn Nursery! 👦💛🌼

We had a truly lovely visit from Playbarn Nursery this afternoon! Our residents were delighted to spend time with the children — sharing toys, reading books together, and colouring in Chinese New Year pictures. 🎨🐉✨

The room was full of laughter, chatter and happy moments as everyone connected through play and creativity. Intergenerational visits like this mean so much and always bring a special kind of joy to our home. 💛

We finished off the afternoon with a trip to the sensory room, which the children absolutely loved — a perfect end to a heart‑warming visit. 🌈🤗

🎶💛 An Afternoon of Beautiful Music at St Modans 💛🎶

A huge thank you to the AOG Choir for joining us once again and filling our afternoon with a lovely selection of hymns. The music was beautifully sung by our residents, colleagues and guests, creating such a warm and uplifting atmosphere throughout the home. 🕊️✨

Moments like these truly bring everyone together, and we’re so grateful for the joy and calm that music brings. 🎼

🐉🍜 Celebrating Chinese New Year at St Modans! 🧧✨

We had a fantastic time celebrating Chinese New Year here at St Modans, complete with a delicious Chinese‑inspired menu that was a real treat for the taste buds! 😋🌸

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful selection of dishes, including:
🍜 Chicken noodle soup
🥟 Homemade teriyaki spring rolls
🍛 Sweet and sour chicken with egg‑fried rice
🥢 Beef chow mein
🍚 Coconut rice pudding for dessert

Every plate was full of flavour, and there were plenty of happy smiles around the dining room! 💛

The celebrations continued into the afternoon with music from Stewart Whyte, bringing lots of dancing, clapping, singing and toe‑tapping joy to the home. 🎶🕺💃

A truly lovely celebration filled with culture, community and fun.

🐑💛 A Truly Special Visit at St Modans! 💛🐑

We would like to say a huge thank you to our colleague Rhonda and her husband Marcus for bringing two of their adorable little lambs to St Modans this afternoon. 🌼

Our residents, relatives and colleagues absolutely loved meeting them — there were lots of smiles as everyone enjoyed clapping and holding the lambs. They were so cute, calm and well‑behaved, and it was lovely to see the joy they brought to the whole home. 💛✨

Simple moments like these often become the most treasured ones.

🎉🎂 Happy 45th Birthday, Barry! 🎂🎉

A huge happy birthday to Barry, who celebrated his 45th birthday in style today! 🎈💛

Barry had a wonderful day surrounded by his family, colleagues and fellow residents. Everyone enjoyed a delicious Coldplay‑themed cake (which looked amazing!) along with plenty of tasty nibbles at a lovely afternoon tea party. ☕🍰✨

It was a day full of smiles, good company and special moments — just as a birthday should be. 🥰

🍞😋 Celebrating National Toast Day at St Modans! 😋🍞

Today we marked National Toast Day in the tastiest way possible — with a delicious selection of sweet and savoury toppings for everyone to enjoy!

Our sweet treats included jam, honey, peanut butter, banana and fudge sauce… and the fudge sauce was definitely a favourite! 🍯🍌✨

On the savoury side, residents sampled pâté, sardines in tomato sauce, cheese, and of course the iconic Marmite — the ultimate “love it or hate it” choice! 👀

The verdict? Well… let’s just say chef Paul gave a very clear NO to Marmite! 🤣 But it certainly added to the fun and sparked lots of laughter.

A brilliant little celebration full of flavour, smiles and great company. 💛

💃😄 A Fun‑Filled Friday with ‘Move It or Lose It’ at St Modans! 😄🕺

This Friday afternoon, we were delighted to welcome Lee back for another brilliant Move It or Lose It session — and what a fantastic time we had! 🎉💛

The room was filled with laughter, energy and lots of fun, as Lee had everyone engaged in gentle movement and light exercise. From singing along to well‑loved songs, to following the movements and using our batons for rhythm, the session was enjoyed by all 🎶🪄

Of course, it wouldn’t be a visit from Lee without some of his classic dad jokes, which kept smiles on everyone’s faces! 😂

A wonderful afternoon full of joy, music and movement.
We’re already looking forward to your next visit, Lee! 💛👏
