Roslyn would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their support and kind expressions of sympathy through cards, flowers and home baking following the sad loss of Charlie.
Thanks to Central Buchan Medical Practice, Webster’s Pharmacy and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Grateful thanks to the nursing staff at Philorth Ward, Fraserburgh Hospital for their kindness and care given.

Marie, Forbes, Nikita and Emily would like to thank everyone who expressed sympathy by way of cards, flowers, prayers and attendance at the service, your kindness and support have been deeply appreciated by all the family at this time in the sad loss of Lillias. Grateful thank the territorial Envoy Craig McKinstry and the Salvation Army for a beautiful service and the Salvation Army Band for playing both at the service and cemetery. Sincere thanks to Paul Deans and Staff at Fraserburgh Funeral Services for all their professionalism, care and guidance with the funeral arrangements. Thank you to the ladies of the Salvation Army for the lovely teas, Pink Petals for creating the lovely floral tributes even down to making a Toffee Sweet one, thank you to Alexander and Olivia from 3:16 AVI recording and finally thank you to those who donated to the collection at the service for The Salvation Army Fraserburgh and Faithlie Care Home.

Christopher and his family would like to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who shared their sympathy, kindness and support following the passing of Robert Cardno Buchan. We are deeply grateful to everyone who sent cards, messages, flowers and attended the service, especially to those who travelled far and wide to be with us.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Paul Deans and all at Fraserburgh Funeral Services for their compassion, professionalism and sensitive guidance.

We extend our sincere thanks to Norman McKenzie for leading Robert’s funeral service with warmth and respect, and for the comfort and support shown to the family.

We are grateful to Alan Buchan and the trustees of the Kirkie in St Combs for their support and care in the preparation of the service. We would also like to acknowledge the generosity shown through donations made in memory of Robert and Lynda, which together raised over £1,000 for the Kirkie in St Combs.

Thanks are also extended to Pink Petals for the beautiful floral tributes, and to the staff at Fraserburgh Leisure Centre for their help and warm hospitality following the funeral.

Finally, we wish to thank our family and friends near and far, for their constant kindness, prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time.

BUCHAN (Bridge of Don / St Combs)

Tragically, and with the heaviest of hearts, we announce that on Saturday 6th December 2025, Robert (Bob) Cardno Buchan, aged 66, passed away.
The much-loved husband of the late Lynda Buchan, Robert was a devoted and proud father of Christopher, a dearly treasured father-in-law to Megain, and a doting, adored Papa to Amelia and Brody. He was the beloved son of the late Peter and Ruby, and a dearly loved brother and brother-in-law to Patricia and Tom, Elizabeth and John, Bruce and the late Margaret, and the late Sarah and Jack.
Robert was a kind, warm and generous uncle, cousin, friend and golf companion to all who knew him. His gentle humour, love for his family and kindness will be remember always.

Funeral service to be held at The Kirkie St Combs, on Monday December 29th at 11am thereafter interment Lonmay Cemetery to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please but a donation can be given at The Kirkie door in aid of The Kirkie.
