Raymond, Colin, Brian and family would like to thank all relatives and friends for their sympathy, cards, flowers, messages, phone calls and all who joined them to celebrate dad`s life at Aberdeen Crematorium. Special thanks to Rhoda McDonald for giving such a personal and comforting tribute which captured dad so well. Peacefully at Chalmers Hospital, Banff after a long illness on Saturday January 31st 2026, George Cruden Lawrance (Dod) formerly of Gray and Adams refrigeration department, beloved husband of the late Iris (Nee Clouston), much loved dad to Raymond, Colin and Brian, Father-in-law to Sarah, Anne and Susan, devoted granda to his 9 grandchildren and a great granda to his 5 great grandson`s and a good friend to everyone who knew him.
Funeral service to be held at Aberdeen Crematorium (West Chapel) on Thursday February 12th at 11.15am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please but a donation can be given at the exit door in aid of MND Scotland.

Christopher and his family would like to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who shared their sympathy, kindness and support following the passing of Robert Cardno Buchan. We are deeply grateful to everyone who sent cards, messages, flowers and attended the service, especially to those who travelled far and wide to be with us.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Paul Deans and all at Fraserburgh Funeral Services for their compassion, professionalism and sensitive guidance.

We extend our sincere thanks to Norman McKenzie for leading Robert’s funeral service with warmth and respect, and for the comfort and support shown to the family.

We are grateful to Alan Buchan and the trustees of the Kirkie in St Combs for their support and care in the preparation of the service. We would also like to acknowledge the generosity shown through donations made in memory of Robert and Lynda, which together raised over £1,000 for the Kirkie in St Combs.

Thanks are also extended to Pink Petals for the beautiful floral tributes, and to the staff at Fraserburgh Leisure Centre for their help and warm hospitality following the funeral.
