Louise, Brian, Emma and Jennifer would like to thank relatives and friends for their kind messages, cards, flowers and support following the sad loss of Bill.

A special thanks to Paul and staff of Fraserburgh Funeral Services for their support and professionalism, Rev Mike Newlands of Fraserburgh and District Parish Church for the comforting and uplifting service, Gordon Hay for the fitting selection of music, Fraserburgh Leisure Centre for their lovely teas and Pink Petal for the beautiful flowers.

Grateful thanks to everyone that has helped care for Bill, in particular the Eldon Carers, the District Nurses, the staff at Ward 102 at ARI and Marie Curie.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who came to pay their respects and for the generous donations that will be shared between the Fraserburgh Heritage Centre and the Fraserburgh Parkinson’s Support Group. Your kindness is very much appreciated.

Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday March 20th 2026, William Gordon Hewitt (Bill) aged 84, beloved husband of Lousie, dearly loved dad to Brian, Emma and Jennifer, very respected father-in-law of Nicola, Douglas and the late Stephen, adored grandad of Colin, Liam, Daniel, Aaron, Logan and Gordon, a dear uncle and a good friend to all who knew him.

Funeral service with be held at Fraserburgh and District Parish Church (South Church) on Monday March 30th at 11am thereafter interment Kirkton Cemetery to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please but if so, desired a donation is welcome at the church door for Local Charities.

Peacefully at Chalmers Hospital, Banff after a long illness on Saturday January 31st 2026, George Cruden Lawrance (Dod) formerly of Gray and Adams refrigeration department, beloved husband of the late Iris (Nee Clouston), much loved dad to Raymond, Colin and Brian, Father-in-law to Sarah, Anne and Susan, devoted granda to his 9 grandchildren and a great granda to his 5 great grandson`s and a good friend to everyone who knew him.
Funeral service to be held at Aberdeen Crematorium (West Chapel) on Thursday February 12th at 11.15am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please but a donation can be given at the exit door in aid of MND Scotland.

Unexpectedly but peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Thursday January 29TH 2026, Mary (Nee Scott) aged 86, beloved wife of the late Sandy, much loved mam of Elaine and Allan, adored mother-in-law of Terry and Karen, loving granny to Lauren, Liam, Rory and Campbell, cherished great granny to Jamie, dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt.

Funeral service to be held at Mormond West Parish Church (Strichen) on Monday February 9th at 11am thereafter interment Strichen Cemetery to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please but a donation can be given at the church door for local charities.
