BUCHAN (Bridge of Don / St Combs)

Tragically, and with the heaviest of hearts, we announce that on Saturday 6th December 2025, Robert (Bob) Cardno Buchan, aged 66, passed away.
The much-loved husband of the late Lynda Buchan, Robert was a devoted and proud father of Christopher, a dearly treasured father-in-law to Megain, and a doting, adored Papa to Amelia and Brody. He was the beloved son of the late Peter and Ruby, and a dearly loved brother and brother-in-law to Patricia and Tom, Elizabeth and John, Bruce and the late Margaret, and the late Sarah and Jack.
Robert was a kind, warm and generous uncle, cousin, friend and golf companion to all who knew him. His gentle humour, love for his family and kindness will be remember always.

Funeral service to be held at The Kirkie St Combs, on Monday December 29th at 11am thereafter interment Lonmay Cemetery to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please but a donation can be given at The Kirkie door in aid of The Kirkie.

Peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Saturday December 13th 2025, Elizabeth (Lillias) Nee Easdale, aged 84, beloved wife of the late Ian (Eeky), dear mam of Marie, mother-in law of Forbes, loving granny to Nikita and Emily, a dear sister and a good friend to all who knew her.

Funeral Service to be held at The Salvation Army Hall, Frithside Street Fraserburgh on Tuesday 30th December at 11am, thereafter interment Kirkton Cemetery to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, Family flowers only please but there will be an opportunity to give a donation at the hall door for The Salvation Army and Faithlie Care Home.

Please wear a touch of red in memory of Lillias.

Christopher, Andrew and their families wish to thank all who sent so kind messages of condolences, cards and flowers following the passing of Lynda Buchan.

Heartfelt thanks are extended to Paul Deans and his colleagues at Fraserburgh Funeral Services for their compassionate care and sensitive support.
The ongoing wisdom, counsel and comfort provided by Paul are truly appreciated.

Our deep thanks to Norman McKenzie for leading such a heartfelt and sensitive funeral service for his friend Lynda, and for his ongoing support to the family at such a difficult time.

We are grateful to Alan Buchan and fellow trustees of the Kirkie in St Combs for their support, kindness and care in the preparing for the service.

Donna, Karen, Frances, Lorraine and family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy, flowers and cards extended to them during their sad loss of Doug.

We are grateful to all the community nurses who have cared for Doug this last year, it’s much appreciated.
Thank you to the first responders, ambulance and fire brigade crews, staff at ARI and ward 102 for their attention and support. He received the greatest of care.

Special thank you to Paul at Fraserburgh Funeral Services for his professional handling of every detail of the funeral arrangements and his kind and caring words of guidance.
