Medal Monday 🏅 - Farnborough Half Marathon!

You can’t say no to a home race! It was amazing to see so many clients and friends out on the course, seeing their phenomenal times and smiles with their medals.

From me, thank you everyone for the support on course!
Did I hit my goal? No.
Did I enjoy it? No
BUT it was a solid run, we recover, reset, refocus and let my feet recover!

Runners….. or anyone whose sport involves contact with the floor!

It’s important to include calf strengthening and ground reaction force training into your schedule to help improve your efficiency when running and for injury prevention especially if you wear carbon shoes!

Carbon shoes are designed to push us onto our toes, which helps to propel you towards. If your lower limbs aren’t strong enough to withstand this change in gate, fatigue will occur, resulting in heel striking, which the shoes aren’t designed for! It’s important to train the whole of the body not just your calfs though!

Race Week = Deload Week
