We are back at Frinton Community Association at Soken House on Thursday from 1.45pm to 3.30pm for our Community Sing-along 🎤

We'll be coming together to share our voices, good vibes, and the simple joy of singing our favourite tunes. Whether you belt it out, hum along, or just love being surrounded by music, you’re welcome!

This week we are joined by the lovely Jean and John, they'll be sharing some of their favourite songs and would love to hear what classics and hidden gems makes your heart feel a little lighter and bring back memories for you. It’s all about community, connection, and celebrating the songs that shaped us. 💛

Drop a tune in the comments—maybe it’s a childhood favourite, a song from a special moment, or something that always gets you smiling. We might even add it to the sing-along list! 🎤✨

The messages claim to be about “Winter Fuel Payments.” But here’s the truth: if you’re eligible, the payment is made automatically. You do not need to click any link, apply online, or give out your bank details.

Follow the guidance on the attached flyer, or if you’re unsure, talk to a trusted family member or contact Citizens Advice Tendring for guidance.

Whether it’s sharing stories, laughter, or just enjoying a few peaceful moments together, there’s something truly special about the simple joy of connection.

That’s why we’re so thrilled to share a glimpse of our Afternoon Tea Event in partnership with Kinder Essex Tendring — a heart-warming gathering for seniors who live alone. We enjoyed smiles, conversation, and plenty of tea (and cake, of course!) at the wonderful Grandma Lilly's Tea Rooms 🍰✨

Because no one should feel alone — and sometimes, kindness is as easy as pulling up a chair and saying, “How are you doing today?” 💛

Today, we want to say a huge thank you to our amazing care professionals who show kindness, compassion, and dedication every single day — you truly make a difference in our community. 🙏💐

As we look ahead to the festive season, we’re spreading a little more kindness through music! 🎶✨

If you’re part of an adult or children’s choir or singing group, or know a group who’d love to share some festive cheer, we’d be delighted to have you join us for our Christmas Singalong at Frinton Community Association at Soken House on the afternoon of 11th December. We'd be so grateful and you would make a lot of home alone seniors very happy. 🙏

At Home Instead we believe staying connected, friendship and laughter are so important to wellbeing, that's why it was such a pleasure to support the Rotary Club of Frinton-on-Sea and their Christmas Afternoon Tea yesterday. 🫶🙏🥳

As you can see from the photos more than 60 senior members of our community had a wonderful time at this annual event. Frinton Links Golf Club put on a marvellous spread, and the Dovercourt Ukulele Club got everyone singing and dancing with a feast of festive tunes. 🫖🥪🍰🎼🎻

Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who collected and supported guests and to Bob, Mike and their fellow Rotarians for their hard work making this event such a great success. 👏
