Take Andrew, for example. With the support of his Care Professional, Michele, the little moments that matter most are always part of the day. This week, Michele accompanied Andrew on a lunch outing and supported him on a very meaningful visit to his father and family's grave, where Andrew was able to place flowers and take a quiet moment to remember his loved ones. 🌹

🎉 Happy 99th Birthday, Ken! 🎂

Our franchise owner, Jean Allen had the pleasure of visiting our dear client Ken today to help mark the occasion of his 99th birthday and share in the celebrations.

Ken has been part of our Home Instead family for many years now, and it means so much to us to be able to celebrate these important milestones together. In the photo you’ll also spot a lovely display of some of the Christmas gifts we’ve brought Ken over the years, proudly placed in front of his fireplace.

Jean has been visiting a number of our clients this week to help them celebrate their special days, and spending time with Ken on his birthday was certainly one to remember. 💙

As we've shown kindness isn’t always grand gestures — sometimes it’s the thought and kindness behind a gesture that make all the difference.

For our final posting celebrating World Kindness Week, we’re proud to share a beautiful example of this. Our amazing Care Pro, Suzanne, created a personalised singalong book in her own time to support one of her lovely clients who is living with Parkinson’s.

Singing can be a powerful way to support speech and communication for people with Parkinson’s — and now they can sing their favourite songs together. 🎶 What a special way to bring joy, connection, and support into everyday care.

Suzanne, your compassion, creativity and dedication truly shine. Thank you for going above and beyond to make a difference. 💛

💛 World Kindness Week – Because Kindness Comes in Many Forms 💛

This week has been a beautiful reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful — it simply has to be heartfelt.

We’ve had the privilege of celebrating some special moments…sending out

🌼 Delivering flowers to one of our kind volunteers who is under the weather, and to two of our wonderful Care Pros who are going through challenging times themselves right now, just to let them know we’re thinking of them and sending them love.

🎖️ Presenting service pins and gift vouchers to some of our dedicated Care Pros who are celebrating long service. Thank you to our two Heather's, Louise, Jo, Christy, Tracy and Lesley for a total of 25 years service. We appreciate your loyalty, commitment, compassion and dedication.

🎶 Sharing laughter and music at yesterday’s community singalong. We helped our lovely client Katharine enjoy a joyful wheelchair dance to one of her favourite songs, “I Will Survive" and helped the 93 years young Joan celebrate with a rousing rendition of happy birthday
