Today we've been busy with easter crafts, creating some very charming chickens 🐔🐣 and this afternoon we enjoyed a cheese and wine trolley! The cheese is always very popular and it was a very enjoyable afternoon. Sorry there's no picture of the cheese plates, they disappeared so quickly! 😅

Last week Christine led a pottery making session and the residents produced some fantastic creations! We had some lovely little pots and some more abstract pieces. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I look forward to seeing them painted 😊

Some of the team here at New Forest Nursing Home and over at Colbury House are raising money for the Alzheimer's Society by taking part in a massive 13-mile walk on the Jurassic Coast. Please support them in this colossal undertaking by donating as much as you can. Raising funds to help those with dementia is important to all of us here at the home.

And spring has officially sprung here at the home! This morning was spent adorning easter bonnets for display and decorating wooden easter ornaments which will make up part of our easter display 🐣🐰

We had a visit from Toby at Visosport on Monday. We played some games which were fantastic for coordination but also just hilarious good fun. Thank you so much for coming in Toby!

On Monday we were delighted to welcome singer Eddy Hailwood who joined us for a special afternoon of live music. He performed a wonderful selection of songs and happily took our requests.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance, especially the guitar playing! It was a great atmosphere with plenty of singing along. Thank you for coming in Eddy!
