Two chairs turned towards each other, mid-conversation, hands meeting as a point was made and then the chat changes. A little later, coffee was taken just beyond the Cafe door, watching the street go by, unhurried.

By the garden table, seeds were tipped carefully into the feeder, checked, adjusted, then checked again, a familiar task done without needing to be asked. 🌞

And we're busy getting ready for our Mini Market this Sunday!

Nothing out of the ordinary, just a day made up of the things that matter.

On 5th April, we will feel a little busier than usual, with market stalls set up, and something warm on the BBQ!
So feel free to stop for a drink, see a few animals along the way, and say hi! 🐑

There was time for a quiet read of the paper, and a table set up for colouring for anyone who fancied it.

In the nursary, we stood by the cot, gently checking in and making sure everything was just right.

The trip to see the lambs was a highlight last week, plenty of smiles and a few good conversations afterwards.

Just a normal week with different things going on.

A lively afternoon with music and movement with The pom-pom lady (Tina Smith Blackwill) , followed by quieter moments across the home.
Some sat down to read, others gathered around the table, and one trip out for a haircut in between.
Just a normal mix of how the day unfolded. 🥰

Recently, a coffee out in town turned into bumping into a familiar face and staying a little longer than planned, while back at home a moment was spent being creative. 📚 There’s also been time outside in the garden too, and sitting by the water with chips on a plate as ducks gathered nearby when we took the mini bus to Chew Valley.

A trip into Bath to see The Jane Austen Centre , taking it slowly, fully immersing ourselves in the experience, and stopping where something caught the eye. The stories behind it all led to conversations from how people lived to the places she wrote about.

One of the wall hangings kept people looking a little longer, with all the detail in the stitching giving something to point out and talk through together.

It was such a lovely day! 📚💕

Yay! The sun came out. Chairs were lined up by the Market Cross to listen to the Rock Choir , with cups of tea warming hands in the sunshine. 🌼🌞

Back at home, we had tea with heart-shaped shortbread, lightly dusted with sugar, for Mother's Day. Whilst Pam wanted to enjoy the day out at the coffee shop.

Later in the garden, Pam was laughing and enjoying athe garden, while Alan made his way along the path with his walker.

The perfect way to spend the morning, getting ready for Easter here in Somerset. 🐣

Paint, a few Easter decorations on the table, and Alan quietly getting stuck in.
