🚨 Danish farmers speak out on Bovaer harms

Videos from Danish farmers are going viral, warning of health issues in cows fed Bovaer, the so-called methane-busting feed additive promoted to fight climate change.

Despite claims from regulators and the manufacturer that Bovaer is safe, farmers are reporting worrying effects on herd health.

Denmark’s Fødevarestyrelsen has now confirmed that farmers can opt out of using Bovaer if they suspect it’s harming their animals - prioritising animal welfare.

Meanwhile, the first independent study on Bovaer’s impact on animal health is underway at Aarhus University, while in the UK, Arla Food's trial has ended early amid similar concerns.
