Despite having broken both ankles, a dodgy back, and an unstable knee, Keinan still signed up to run 26.2 miles proving that determination (and maybe a touch of madness!) goes a very long way 😄

We’re excited to shine a light on Rose, who is taking on the iconic London Marathon in support of WHY 🏃‍♀️

Rose is running to help ensure people affected by cancer and life‑threatening conditions can access the counselling support they need and she’s doing it in truly memorable style.

On marathon day, Rose will be wearing a skirt made from over 30 ribbons, each one carrying a hand‑written message of support from friends and family. A powerful reminder that she’s never running alone

🧗‍♀️ 160ft. One tower. Eight very brave people.

On Saturday 25 April, eight incredible supporters will take on the challenge of abseiling down King Alfred’s Tower at Stourhead, all to raise vital funds for WHY
(This is our rescheduled event from last year.)

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported our emergency appeal. Thanks to your generosity, we can continue operating and supporting people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
This funding gives us vital breathing space and although we are not entirely out of the woods, we have a clear stabilisation plan in place. We are confident that now we enter the new financial year, we are operating from a more secure position - facing the same challenges as many small charities, rather than an immediate crisis.
We are confident we can continue to support people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, with your continued support.
Over the coming months, we will focus on strengthening our long-term financial position and protecting the services that people rely on. We are committed to being open and transparent throughout this recovery period and will continue to keep our supporters updated.
We have been overwhelmed by the compassion and generosity shown by our community. Thank you for standing with us and with the people we serve. Our job in supporting those that need us most is not done and with your continued assistance we plan to do so much more.

Today marks a moment we will remember forever. Thanks to every runner, donor, volunteer, supporter, ambassador, partner and friend who stood with us when it mattered most - WHY’s future is safe.

Your belief, your generosity and your determination have kept support in place for children, young people and adults facing life threatening conditions. We are so deeply grateful.

Over the next few days we’ll be sharing a longer message to celebrate what you’ve made possible - and to honour every single act of kindness that got us here.

But for today, simply this:
