🌠 Nearly 300 people came along to a sold-out fireworks event hosted by Frome Nursing Home in Somerset, where residents, fondly referred to as family members, joined neighbours and the team to enjoy an evening filled with colour, community and excitement. 🎇🎆

What a night! Over 300 people joined us for our fireworks evening, a wonderful mix of family members, team, and neighbours coming together to enjoy the display, food, and entertainment.
We humbly thank everyone who came along and made it such a memorable evening. 🎇

We’ve been celebrating Halloween in style with a spooky party, pumpkin carving, and some truly creative decorations! 👻

What we know today as Halloween began more than 2,000 years ago during the Celtic festival of Samhain, a time to mark the end of harvest and the beginning of winter. While its meaning has changed over the centuries, it’s still a day that brings people together, encourages imagination, and fills our home with laughter and familiar traditions.

This autumn, we have been full of purposeful moments lately, a game of draughts after lunch, some creative time with colouring, and friendly chats around the farmhouse-style dining table. 🎀

As the days grow cooler, it’s time to grab a cup of hot choc or tea, and to wear your favourite jumper!

Happy ! 🎵 For the farmers here who have called Frome their home, The Wurzels are always a favourite! We spent the afternoon singing along, making scarecrows (and a few Guy Fawkes too), with some of the team dressed up for the fun. 🌾 A proper feel-good afternoon together.
