🐾 Thursdays just got even more tail-wagglingly exciting at Rowden! 🐾

The wonderful Niki from Dogs for Health visits us each week with her adorable whippet, Ronnie, and our residents absolutely love it. From gentle pats to the occasional sneaky treat, Ronnie never fails to bring smiles to everyone he meets. 🐾

And now the excitement has doubled… Niki has started bringing along her sausage dog puppy too! With two furry friends making the rounds, Thursdays have quickly become a firm favourite for our residents – filled with cuddles, laughter, and plenty of puppy love. 🐶💛

Animal visits like these bring so much joy to the home, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming Niki and her lovely dogs back again this Thursday! 😍

🌟📚 Celebrating World Book Day at Rowden! 📚🌟

Our residents embraced the spirit of a classic favourite by donning red bonnets and wolf ears, stepping into the enchanting world of Little Red Riding Hood. It was a delightful day filled with laughter, fun, and a great way to share stories together!

In Rowden this week, our residents have been fully embracing the spring spirit 🌸🌷

With paintbrushes in hand, they’ve been creating bright and cheerful spring flowers, filling the room with colour, creativity, and plenty of smiles. It’s been wonderful to see everyone expressing themselves and celebrating the season through art. 🌷

The fun didn’t stop there! Residents also enjoyed some friendly games of bocce ball, bringing a little healthy competition and lots of laughter to the week. 🏐

Something we often get asked is whether it’s possible to reserve a respite stay in advance – and the answer is yes!

A lot of families tell us it helps them feel more organised and reassured when planning ahead. And if you’re booking more than two months in advance, you can secure the stay with just a 25% deposit, which many people find makes things a little easier. 💛

🌸 Bringing smiles with every bloom 🌸

Our residents truly enjoy the beautiful flower donations we receive from Sainsbury’s. The flowers are often used for simple flower-arranging activities that our residents love, and they also help brighten our shared spaces throughout the home. 🌷

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support and would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Sainsbury’s for helping bring colour, joy, and creativity into our residents’ days. 💐
