If you are struggling to meditate or find the mind is overcome with negativity or emotion, mantra is a powerful tool to create inner change.

The sound current (Naad) cuts though the mind, balancing the hormones, rewiring the nervous system and releasing subconscious programming to bring inner calm, peace and quietness.

One participant from our recent Jappa retreat (jappa means to repeat-where we chant one mantra over a weekend) , demonstrates how this practice helped them understand their past in a way they hadn’t been able to before, bringing emotional release and a sense of inner steadiness. When you are feeling a knot in your stomach when buying an expensive Christmas present for your loved one.

Or feeling guilty about treating yourself to something nourishing like a massage, spa treatment or retreat.

And wanting to feel more ease, freedom, joy around money, in yourself and in your life, then you have to create an internal shift.

In Kundalini Yoga, we believe prosperity is a state of being that comes from a strong radiant body.

The radiant body is like a Golden Light that sits on top of your aura. When strong, you attract what you need - the right job, opportunities, money, the right people to support your life.

Mantra is a powerful way to shift your internal state.
The mantra “Har Har Har Har Wahe Guru” awakens the creative energy helping you to access abundance as a state of being from within.

“Har” translates as “Creative Force,” and affirms our ability to co-create with the universe.

This kriya - a combination of mudra (hand position) and mantra (sound) - is a traditional prosperity practice designed to invite greater flow into your life.

This meditation works by stimulating the mind, as well as the moon and Jupiter centres in the hands. In Kundalini Yoga, it’s the meeting of Moon and Jupiter energy that creates prosperity.

A common practice uses Gyan Mudra (index finger and thumb touching) while chanting.

Practice this meditation for 3 - 11 minute, but no more. More than 11 minutes is traditionally considered greedy 😆 prosperity flows through alignment, not force!

Prosperity isn’t about chasing or forcing. Like the rose, it grows naturally, when we are in tune with ourselves.

When we soften, let go of stress, and follow our inner guidance, life begins to flow more easily. Opportunities come our way with no strain, no force.

In Kundalini Yoga, prosperity is a kind of inner radiance - a state of being that naturally draws what we need. The more we are ourselves, the more it shows up.

Prosperity is already inside you. Your only job, like the rose, is to keep unfolding.

As the days grow shorter and the chill of winter sets in, our bodies can feel more vulnerable to colds, flu, and low energy. In these colder months, resilience in both our physical bodies and our energy is important to staying well.

The Wei Qi is the protective energy that surrounds your body, like an invisible shield that helps guard you from illness, toxins, and even other people’s emotions. When it’s strong, you can move through the world with clarity and calm, less affected by what’s happening around you.

“Wahe Guru Wahe Jio” is a mantra of awakening, a reminder that the wisdom and guidance you seek already live within you.

It’s both a celebration and a call to your soul: to rise, expand, and connect to the guidance that has always been there.

When you chant over and over again, a very profound healing happens. It clears the subconscious, balances the hormones and changes your physiology as well as clearing and expanding your energy field.

I’m am so grateful for this work. It’s profound and creates deep change in those who have the courage and grit to dive deep. I love supporting people through this process. It’s a true alchemy!

I’ve run this retreat for 9 years and each year I’m moved and heartened by all those that join us. It was a pivotal moment this year with the ending of the year of the snake and the start of a new 12 year cycle next year. 🐍

If you’re looking for a simple yet powerful way to enhance your yoga practice, wearing white can be a beautiful choice.

In Kundalini Yoga, white is said to expand your aura, increase your radiance, and bring greater clarity of mind. It reflects the energy around you rather than absorbing it, helping you stay centred in your own light.

Its simplicity invites your focus to turn inward - grounding you in your practice and deepening your meditative state.

While it’s by no means a necessity, many practitioners find that the intentional act of wearing white helps them arrive more fully in the moment, calm, present, and connected to the energy of their practice.

Why not try it next time you practice and see if it enhances your experience.
