Spring and summer weather is great, but it can be a challenge to stay hydrated, especially older people who are easilly susceptible to dehydration. This could be due to; a decrease in thirst sensation, loss of fluids through incontinence, impaired cognition or medication side effects.

When trying to help someone stay hydrated, how many of these strategies can you tick off your bingo card?

Today we remember VE Day. We honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all who served and those who gave their lives for peace. We have been lucky enough to care for many of them over the years and we will be thinking of them today. Let us never forget their legacy 🌹
