💬 Has someone you care for had a severe reaction to a GLP-1 medication? Support our study to improve patient safety.

If an adult you care for was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis at a hospital, while they were taking a GLP-1, such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus or Mounjaro, they may be eligible to join the Yellow Card Biobank study. Please complete a Yellow Card report 🔗 https://bit.ly/2A6B165 on their behalf and agree for us contact you.

The Yellow Card Biobank study is a MHRA and Genomics England collaboration developed to improve our understanding of how a patient’s genetic makeup may increase their risk of harm from side effects of medications. Understanding this will help ensure that patients across the UK receive the safest medication for them, based on their genetic makeup.

If they meet the criteria for the study, we will provide you with a letter or email to send to them to ask them to take part

Appreciation Post!
With deepest appreciation to Mike and his coffee bus.
Come rain or shine (quite literally) this man and his caffeine fixes turn up most weeks to keep our staff going with his delicious beverages and sweet and savoury treats. He even delivers the hot drinks and marmite buns to staff in the front office.
This guy is a welcomed fixture here at Willingham Surgery. Most Thursdays he can be found outside the front of our building, smiling and chatting to all.

Please can we remind our lovely patients to always arrive on time for their appointments. If you are more than even just a few minutes late arriving it then impacts the running of the rest of the day for both staff and other patients. You also run the risk of not being seen by a clinician and then having to re-book for a later date.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding😇 Thank you.
