๐ŸŒฟ Cliff Bradley & Sons are proud to be members of the Association of Green Funeral Directors, an organisation established to support funeral homes in offering more environmentally responsible choices, while helping families find services that reflect their values. For us, this is a natural step. In recent years, we have introduced fully electric and hybrid vehicles into our funeral fleet, alongside wider steps to reduce environmental impact across our day to day operations. We also offer a considered range of eco-friendly options, including sustainable coffins, natural burial choices and simpler, more environmentally conscious services.

Membership of the Association reflects both our current approach and our ongoing commitment to improve. Its code of practice promotes transparency, informed choice and the availability of greener alternatives, ensuring families are able to make decisions that are right for them, with a clear understanding of the options available.

Every funeral is personal. For some families, that includes considering environmental impact, choosing materials, methods and settings that align with a more natural approach. Our role is to guide those choices with care, offering clear and practical options when they matter most. As part of the association, we will continue to review and develop our practices, helping to reduce impact where possible, maintaining the standards of care and service that families expect, our family caring for yours. ๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŒธ Mothering Sunday can bring many emotions. For some, it is a time of love, togetherness and celebration. For others, it can be a difficult day, missing a mum who is no longer here, grieving a child, or simply wishing that someone special was still part of the day. As we approach Mothering Sunday, we invite anyone finding it hard to visit our online dedication page, a gentle space to remember, reflect and celebrate the life of someone they love. In support of The Menopause Charity, all donations raised will help provide vital support to women around the country.

You are welcome to leave a dedication, share a memory, or upload a photo, whether your loss is recent or many years past. The service is free to use and open to all, offered in association with our tribute partner, MuchLoved, to support families in our care and the wider community. However you spend the day, please remember that you are not alone. We are here whenever you need us, our family caring for yours. ๐Ÿค

๐ŸŽ—๏ธ As the year draws to a close, we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who donated in memory of a loved one through our online tribute facility. In 2025 alone, your generosity raised ยฃ141,316 for charitable causes, ยฃ11,376 more than the previous year, bringing the total raised since launching the platform in 2021 to over ยฃ561,000.

Among the many causes supported, nearly 400 donations were made to St Barnabas Hospice Lincolnshire, raising almost ยฃ20,000. Other significant contributions included ยฃ11,310 to the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, ยฃ9,132 to the British Heart Foundation, ยฃ9,049 to Cancer Research UK, and ยฃ7,047 to Marie Curie, alongside many other local, regional and national charities. Every donation was made in memory of someone special and chosen with care by their family.

Provided in partnership with MuchLoved, our online facility offers a thoughtful space where family and friends can share messages, light virtual candles, leave tributes, and make donations in memory of someone special. Itโ€™s a simple yet powerful way to honour loved ones while supporting the causes that meant most to them. To everyone who contributed this year, thank you for your trust and generosity. We wish you a peaceful and healthy New Year, our family caring for yours. ๐Ÿค

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ A heartfelt thank you to all those who joined us for our annual memorial services at the start of December. Marking our fourth annual event and our highest attendance to date, we were delighted to welcome the Salvation Army brass band for a second year, whose festive songs greeted guests on arrival. Members of our memorials team were warmly welcomed and proud to attend, as our beacon of light once again lit the way for visitors.

For those who couldn't attend, or did attend but would like to watch again, live webcasts from both services are now available to view online. These streams will be active throughout the festive period and into the New Year, with digital copies available to order on request, details below. Our family, caring for yours, remember that we are always here, whenever you need us.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ In this season of peace and light, we invite you to our funeral homes to dedicate a special tribute to someone you love, but very sadly no longer see. Our memorial trees are now placed at Gainsborough and Saxilby, displaying the tags from last weekโ€™s memorial services. You are welcome to visit at any time before Christmas to write a message on one of our stars, place upon our tree, and take a moment to reflect, either with a member of our team, alone, or with family and friends. For those unable to visit, we will be happy to place a tag on your behalf. You are also welcome to use our online dedication facility, where you can upload a photo, leave a message and light up a life. Our family caring for yours, remember that we are always here, whenever you need us. ๐Ÿค

Statement

We would like to offer our sincere apologies as a small number of the photos submitted prior to the cut off for the memorial service tribute were not included.
We fully appreciate how meaningful these images are and are deeply sorry that this occurred.

Our team is already working to correct the issue, and the โ€œwatch againโ€ version of the tribute will include the photos that were missing. This technical problem will also affect the service taking place tomorrow (Saturday), but we can reassure you that the tribute on the โ€œwatch againโ€ version will be complete and fully reflective of everything submitted prior to the cut off.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we make this right.
