Popped into the ward this afternoon
Lots of spooky activity going on!!
Wendy (NHSPS Domestic) does a trolley every year and she was a spooky witch today (Thanks to our local COOP for donating the goodies)
This year Charlii joined her in a fabulous pumpkin outfit!!
We went a step further and Liz our OT student put on a halloween themed mock tail party creating lots of Halloween mock tails with the aim of promoting hydration and made a fabulous hydration bingo session too
The patients absolutely loved it!!!

Meet Luna pictured here with Denise our trainee nurse associate. Luna came to ward today to visit ‘dad’ who is a patient on our ward
Dad walked the whole length of the ward to the day room to see Luna (that is after the staff let go! )
On Scotter Ward we encourage pets to visit it really boosts the patients to see their beloved pets and boosts their rehab and it’s great to see the smiles from other patients ….and the staff!! when they visit Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust
