Let’s talk manual lymphatic drainage 🖤
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very gentle, rhythmic massage technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, helping the body move excess fluid, waste products, and toxins through the lymph vessels toward lymph nodes for elimination.
Unlike traditional massage, MLD uses light pressure and slow, precise movements that follow the natural direction of lymph flow.
⸻
What the Lymphatic System Does
The lymphatic system is part of the body’s immune and detoxification system. It helps to:
• Remove waste and toxins from tissues
• Reduce swelling and fluid retention
• Support immune function
• Transport white blood cells
• Maintain fluid balance in the body
Because the lymph system doesn’t have its own pump (like the heart does for blood), it relies on movement, breathing, and muscle contractions — which is why manual stimulation can be beneficial.

Benefits of Manual Lymphatic Drainage
MLD is commonly used for:
Reducing swelling (edema)
Post-surgery recovery (including cosmetic surgery)
Reducing bloating and water retention
Supporting detoxification
Boosting immune function
Improving skin appearance
Reducing puffiness in the face
Relaxation and nervous system support
Many clients also report feeling lighter, less bloated, and deeply relaxed after treatment.
We have full body drainage and we will also be offering an upper body combo with hot stones 🙌
