It’s shaping up to be a thoughtful and varied programme — with guest speaker UK, mental health awareness from Mind , a guided restoration session from for the Soul, and a live Q&A panel to close the evening.

On 4th March, Newcastle will host the launch evening for the Tolicious book.

The event includes a guest presentation from UK, alongside expert talks exploring wellness, mental health, Mind and sustainable change.

I’ll be contributing a session on the biology of fatigue and behaviour — a topic that connects deeply with the broader themes of empowerment and healing.

It’s shaping up to be a really well-rounded evening.

It’s a monthly support group bringing together people living with diabetes across the North East, offering education, support and a chance to connect with others.

More details to follow nearer the time, but I’m looking forward to being part of it.

My 20-minute talk is called:
“Tired, Hungry, Stuck: The Biology Behind It.”

If you’ve ever felt exhausted, craving sugar, or frustrated that you “know what to do” but struggle to stay consistent — this session is for you.

I’ll be exploring why it’s often not about willpower at all, and what’s really happening in the body when energy dips and cravings take over.

It’s going to be a relaxed, welcoming evening with drinks, speakers and space to connect. I’ll also be available afterwards if you’d like to chat more about blood sugar, fatigue or working together.
