Newcastle Clinic is home to the only Open MRI Scanner in the North East of England and Scotland. An open scanner is double the width of a traditional, closed scanner, and it has no walls. This provides a non-claustrophobic experience and also allows for patients of large build to have comfortable MRI scans. We can accept NHS referrals for claustrophobic or obese patients. We ensure our visitors are fully catered for in a caring environment.
