IT'S STARTED!!!

Fat lad has started training for The Great North Run 2026 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Anyone who knows me knows I don't run for nothing so this is a massive effort and I mean massive. I'm already 🤢🤢🤢 after 2 days 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm running it for St Cuthbert's Hospice to help support the amazing work they do. We've covered their events for years free of charge but with huge cuts they no longer do events, so this is my way of giving to them.

Even bought some sexy new trainers that match my hoodie (accidentally) 🤣🤣🤣

To celebrate and say thanks for the support over the years on our 10th birthday we recently visited a college in West Cumbria and offered 2 day free training to 6 students who are mental health Ambassadors for students.

All engaged wholeheartedly in the course and showed wisdom, care, compassion and empathy way beyond their years and beyond that of alot of adults 🤯🤯

The feedback we've had has brought a tear to my eye genuinely I've been blown away.

Huge thanks to QNUK who allowed to offer this course to those students free of charge as there was no funding available 💔💔

A truly amazing group of young people who we've actually learnt so much off aswell, so thank you to them and congratulations on becoming mental health first aiders 🎊🎉🪅🥳

TO CELEBRATE AND SAY THANKS

HOW DID THAT HAPPEN 🤯🤯🤯 🥳 🎉 🥳 🎉 🥳 🎉 🎊

Today GCS turns 10 years old wooooooow

I cannot believe we're here and still going strong 10 years on, (we were only going toast 6 months 😜)

We've had so many highs and some lows, we've saved lives and thought thousands more to save them and We've genuinely changed lives.

We started with one defib, a response bag and an idea 💡

We've done so much, been so many places and met amazing people along the way both clients , staff and patients 🫶🫶

We couldn't of done it without the clients many of which are now friends more than they are clients.

But my biggest thank you goes to the staff over the years 🫶🫶🫶
Many started with us with no experience or qualifications and have now gone on to be Nurses, Doctors and Paramedics, ones even gone on to be a veterinary Nurse 🤷🤷🤦‍♂️🤣🤣

TO YOU ALL THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

Emergency first aid at work (£50pp)
Emergency paediatric first aid (£50pp)

29th and 30th January
Paediatric first aid (£70pp)

February 23rd and 24th
Mental health first aider (£180pp)

All course are certificated via QNUK.

2026 Calender is filling up nicely 😍😍😍😍

We will again this coming year be doing limited events so we don't over book or take on more than we can cover with our own staff and those we work closely with.

With this in mind if you are wanting to get us booked in and you have dates for 2026 the sooner there in the diary the better, as once it's full it's full.

We love working with fewer quality clients than the many who ask us to cut corners for them. This can give you confidence that if you see us covering an event your on the organiser is ensuring safety over £££.
