My favourite video from performance in Pererleeโ€™s Strongest last Saturday

Jacks recently had to step up to compete at Novice level and overhead is definitely her strongest event. But this time we needed to shave whatever time we could from each implement.

We worked on not only her strength but also increasing her explosive power and rate of force development. The results show for themselves, ground-to-overhead on the log, power clean on the axle and despite her initial hesitation, we worked on ground-to-overhead on the monster dumbbell too!

You're not always going to feel great about working out...

Some day's you just aren't feeling 100% right?

And because you're not feeling 100% you just sack off your workout, because you can't give 100% to it

In fact most people who have been exercising consistently for years will tell you that there are occasional days when you just don't feel that great about working out.

BUT the key to great results is to realise this, and to give what you have when you can.

So if you're only functioning at 70% and you turn up anyway, and give all of that 70% to your workout - then you gave 100%

Conditions won't always be perfect, BUT keep showing up and giving everything you can to your workouts - that's when the real results will show ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜€
