It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gillian Freeman.

Gills funeral service and cremation will take place at Saltwell crematorium on Wednesday February 18th at 3.15

Family flowers only please but donations may be made at the crematorium in aid of The Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

All welcome afterwards for refreshments at Gateshead Fell Rugby Club.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Stephen Jones from Deckham who passed away on January 18th 2026.

Stephen's funeral service and cremation will take place at Saltwell crematorium on Friday February 6th at 12 noon

Donations may be made at the crematorium in aid of Bryson's Animal Shelter.

All welcome afterwards for refreshments at The Plough Deckham.

There is no cost involved, and there is no legal obligation if you wish to change your mind in the future. This is called My Funeral Wishes. All you have to do is contact us and we can arrange a face to face meeting or you can email us and we can take down you funeral wishes, on the attached simple form and keep them on file until the time of need.
