From 15th December to 2nd January, community venues across Gateshead and Newcastle are offering meals and gatherings as part of the Gateshead Food Partnership initiative — everyone is welcome.

No one should feel alone over the festive period.
Please share this far and wide so those who need it most know where they can go for support, warmth, and company. 💛

This is a time to celebrate the graduates hard work, dedication, and growth – a truly inspiring milestone. Refreshments will be provided, and we hope to see everyone there to share in the joy and connection. 💛

📣 A Proud Moment for Our Team at GRP!

Last week, we brought together our amazing staff, Commissioners, the Gilead team, Hep C Trust, and Head Office for a very important meeting — and a well-earned celebration. We are delighted to announce that we have officially hit our target for micro-elimination of Hepatitis C! 🎉

This achievement is a huge milestone and a reflection of the dedication, compassion, and hard work shown by everyone involved. To mark the occasion, we enjoyed a buffet together and took the time to recognise just how far we’ve come as a team.

We also discussed the ongoing importance of BBV testing and ensuring that service users receive timely and effective Hep C treatment. Early detection and treatment save lives, and our commitment to promoting health and wellbeing remains at the heart of everything we do.

A massive thank you to all GRP staff for your continued support, your drive, and your unwavering commitment to improving the health of our service users. Your hard work truly makes a difference. 💛

As we head into the festive period, it’s really important to check our opening times so you know when support is available. We have several closure dates over Christmas and New Year, so please plan ahead where possible.

New Year’s Day (1 Jan)
