This World Book Day, Wellburn's Book Fairy is helping to sprinkle some extra magic! 👀🧚‍♀️

Our Book Fairy loves to share the magic of spellbinding stories, and is running a special competition across our care homes! We're inviting young bookworms to show off their World Book Day costumes and share their favourite stories with our residents 📚🐛

We've got some brilliant bookish prizes up for grabs:
✨ a bumper pack of 10 Julia Donaldson illustrated storybooks,
✨ a collection of 16 classic Roald Dahl books,
✨ and 10 timeless children's classics, including Alice in Wonderland and Black Beauty.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply post a photo of your child's World Book Day costume in the comment section with a short message about their favourite book, character or author 📖

Residents will then choose their favourite costumes, with three lucky winners being announced on our page on Monday 🏆

Our wonderful Lynn wanted to make pancakes today !!! Debs and David couldn’t even manage a thumbs up while tasting them ….. so we would say they were “flippin” great 🥞🥣👩‍🍳

We don’t let the rain ruin our days !! A wonderful drive out to a beautiful tea room with fantastic staff ! Debs gave the cake 10/10 !! We didn’t want to end the day and Lynn suggested a beach drive to see the waves in this weather . It did not disappoint ! When we can’t use our legs we use our wheels nothing stops our fun

Cake making , crafting and of course Winter Olympics !! everyone loves preparing muffins in the manor … they loved even more tasting the hard work ! Delicious 🎂👩‍🎨⛷️

Oh how happy it made us to have no rain today !! We made the most of it and escaped to the beach ! We had a lovely day chatting about our favourite childhood memories at the beach and which beaches were our favourites 🌊
