Armstrong House care home in Bensham, near Gateshead, is a modern, purpose-built home with a friendly and compassionate team who provide exceptional residential, nursing and specialised dementia care, as well as sensitive end of life care. The home has wonderful facilities including cosy lounges and dining rooms, plus a hair and nail salon. The beautifully landscaped grounds have raised flower beds, patios and lawn areas - they’re the perfect place to sit and chat with visitors or get involved in gardening. The team works with residents and their families to design care and activity plans tailored to your unique needs and preferences, and the talented chefs also create bespoke menus.

This years annual Christmas trip to valley farm for turkey and tinsel has changed dates unfortunately! So to all that have paid a deposit if you’s can’t make it im really sorry 😔! But if yous can still make it then great 😊. The new date is the 17th of December. To all who are wanting to come and join your loved one for the day I’m now taking £5 deposits which comes of your balance on the day 🩷

We enjoyed sparklers outside , then back in the warmth for a cuppa and a game of bingo, Gaynor won the house and a bottle of Prosecco
