Out GP practice is using eConsult!

eConsult allows patients to submit requests to their practice 24/7 from anywhere they have an internet connection. Rather than booking an appointment, the patient sends their request or symptoms and the GP practice will review and make sure every patient gets the right care. This might save you a trip into the practice.

There are three ways to access and submit an eConsult:

- Through the eConsult icon on the practice’s website, on any device
- Download and use the NHS App on your phone or tablet
- Through the eConsult GP finder on the website https://econsult.net/nhs-patients

From there, all you have to do is complete a quick online questionnaire which is sent to your practice. Using this, your GP can check your eConsult and advise you on the best next steps.

You can also search for trusted NHS self-help advice, complete administrative requests and give your GP updates about long-term conditions through eConsult.

You can find out more about eConsult and watch a video on how it all works here: https://econsult.net/nhs-patients

Contact your own NHS GP practice online for free for medical or administrative requests. Use our GP finder to start your online consultaiton.

Did you know you can manage your repeat prescriptions from Napier Road Surgery in the NHS App?

You can easily choose where your prescriptions are sent. So, if you know you'll be away from home or you are moving home, you can change your nominated pharmacy from within the app.

You can also order your prescription at any time that suits you. There’s no need to wait to join a telephone queue or wait until the GP surgery opens.

It’s easy to use, and, if you hit a snag, you can go to ‘Help’ in the top right-hand corner of the app or visit nhs.uk/helpmeapp. Find out more about the NHS App at: www.nhs.uk/nhsapp.

Download the NHS App, or open the NHS website in a web browser, to set up and log in to your NHS account. Owned and run by the NHS, your NHS account is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online.
