Hey everyone,
I am happy to announce that I've had some motivation to get this project going after a long while and can't wait to send off my first program to my first client.
I love the fact I am adding my hobbies to my work alot more recently and even more excited to work with people who are just as addicted to horse riding as I am.

I am offering 4 week programs for horse riders to focus on their performance and to help prevent injury.
This involves video analysis of your riding performance to find areas to focus on in your fitness, also 24hr advice and support along with program adaptations.

Hopefully in the future after COVID is past us I will be able to provide 1 to 1 horse riding analysis with you and your horse to assess biomechanics and fitness.

Hi guys
so today the session is based on posture strengthening exercises. This is great if you struggle with mobility in the mid spine and have a hunched over posture.

start with a basic warm up:
1. happy- angry cats
2. child pose
3. cobra stretch
4. feed through thoracic stretch

then begin the class:
(so I normally do the movement for 3-4 minutes and try and do them as slow as possible or you can do the reps provided 😊)
1. pilates press ups(30 reps)
2. theraband single arm lift and lateral movement (30/ 15 each side)
3. side sitting stretches (3 X each side with a 5 second hold each time)
4. thoracic rotations (ballerina turns) (30/ 15 each side)
5. arm anterior lift (30 reps)
6. anterior lift with rotation (30 reps)
7. anterior lift with theraband pulses (30 reps)
8. mermaid variation (30 / 15 reps)
9. ball lat raises (30 / 15 each side)

cool down:
the same stretches used to warm up 😊
hope you all enjoy and let me know if you need anything adapting to suit an injury or condition you may have.

Don't feel like you have to use a weight or theraband for any of the exercises. hope you enjoy and feel the burn in-between your shoulder blades.

We are also offering 30 minutes workstation consultations for people that are working from home and are struggling to make their new work space appropriate for them.
This is extremely important to prevent any aches and pain while sat at your desk!
Over the phone consultations for injury assessment will also be available to help you with any injury management while in isolation.

Hi everyone,

So as you all know we have been given very strict guidelines about staying inside from the government due to the Coronavirus outbreak. I hope everyone is staying safe by staying inside and enjoying family time.
Obviously it's hard to find a new routine in your day / week, so I thought I could help by bringing your weekly Pilates class to the comfort of your own home.
This can be done either with a small organised group or an individual session as you can add plenty of people through the app.
So if you re interested all you need to do is:

1. Contact myself over booking a time slot
2. Download the Zoom app onto a phone, tablet or laptop which ever you find easiest to use in the class
3. If possible have a mat and a small towel with you (if you do have access to pilates equipment that you would like to use let me know)

So this post is very much over due 🙌

So in December myself and Brecon moved home to Dorset after nearly 6 years in the North West. Just wanted to say a big thank you to and everyone in Edgworth for being amazing to ADAPT and recommending friends and family to the business it was an amazing experience, I will miss the village and everyone in it as it reminded me of the community I came from. Which brings me on to mention the prospect of the clinic re opening in my lovely community in North Dorset, which will involve Pilates classes as well. Obviously since the outbreak of the Coronavirus this will be placed on hold untill we know it's safe to allow for home visits and we can find the perfect venue.

I will let everyone know more once the virus has settled 😊 thank you for your patience as I know I've had a fair few enquiries about when the classes and treatments will start. However if you are struggling with pain please feel free to contact my self so advice can be given over the phone or email to make sure you stay pain free over this time. Hope everyone stays safe and hopefully see you all in the summer.
