Jumping on the trend not just to share how much eye liner I used to wear, but to spread a strong message that I really believe in.

In 2016, my relationship with my body was scarred by control. I micromanaged food and exercise because I didn’t like how I looked, and I thought discipline was the answer. A decade later, I have learnt to move, train, and fuel myself from a completely different place of respect and trust rather than punishment.

I’m so proud of the growth I’ve made over the past ten years and I am still learning. Listening to my body’s signals can be difficult, especially in my career. But ultimately, I am so full of love for the life I’ve built and the people I choose to have around me.

If sharing this helps even one person build a more intuitive, compassionate relationship with their body, then it’s all been worth it. 🧡

Wellness Tip No. 1:

Movement should support your lifestyle 🩶

It’s okay if your training shifts as your body changes and adapts. I used to love boxing and circuit training and I used to think if I wasn’t sweating, then it wasn’t a workout. Now, I’ve learnt what my body needs and responds to and my workouts are a lot more conditioning and yoga based. It’s not to say one thing is better than the other, it’s about finding something that works for you and gives you something back 🙏

Speaking from my own experience, movement in your thirties shouldn’t drain you, it should support the kind of life you’re living.

If you’re exhausted after every workout, something needs adjusting. If you’re left feeling dissatisfied, it might be time to mix it up and try something new 🤸

Sometimes growth means making hard choices… ✨

Over the past two years I’ve loved teaching in the West End and being part of The Movement Studio. It’s been such a special place for me to begin my teaching journey and I have the lovely Kate to thank for giving me this opportunity. 💛
But, alongside my all consuming career, I’ve come close to burnout a few too many times recently. So in order to keep showing up for my students, and for myself… it’s time to make a change.

🧘‍♀️ My last class will be Sunday 26th October (lots of hugs are welcome) 🤗 
🧘‍♂️ From Sunday November 16th, you’ll find me teaching - a beautiful, calm space that is much closer to home 🏡

I can’t wait to welcome you there and continue growing my brand and community in this next chapter 💫
