This continuous cycle of fear - tension - pain is one that too often happens in birth 😫

The great news is you can break it 💪🏻 and not let it be a part of your birth story!

Like any other muscle in your body tension means that muscle can’t work properly and will result in increased pain. This is exactly the same for your uterus muscles. If you are fearful of labour, your muscles are tense, the level of discomfort you feel increases and you feel more fear and the cycle continues.

I often hear birth partners voice concerns of what they will be able to do to support during labour and worries they’ll feel like a spare part.

Birth partners have a huge role to play to make the birth experience happy and positive ⭐️ and are an important part of the birthing process.

We talk about this on the course and help birth partners feel more confident and prepared for their role on the day.

I’m excited to be launching my new Birth Essentials Course 🎉

The course covers all the essentials you will need for birth and hypnobirthing. You will have two teaching sessions from the comfort of your own home plus access to a vast library of online resources, the course handbook and support from me right up until the birth of your baby 🤱

I used hypnobirthing for my second birth and it made it such a positive experience. The Essentials Course offers you the chance to start your journey to a positive birth experience. I want to educate you to help you reduce your fears and anxiety around birth and feel more prepared and confident ⭐️

This would be an ideal course if you have completed an online hypnobirthing course, can see it’s huge benefit but still have some niggling worries and would like some hypnobirthing teaching personalised for you.

Our bodies are so clever, they rearrange your insides to grow your baby and let’s not forget, they can grow a baby🤰

You don’t need to tell your body how to do this it just knows and here’s the thing … your body knows how to birth your baby too 🎉

Unfortunately modern culture and media would have you believe birth is this scary, painful event you have to get through and rely on others. That’s where I can help!

I can teach you how your body works to birth your baby, how to change your view on birth and build your confidence to make informed decisions for birth to make it positive for you 💕

🥳 Today is my Birthday 🥳

Now I don’t remember this day 21 years ago … ok, 35 😉 so I thought I’d share a photo of someone who does … my Mum!

My Mum had never heard the word hypnobirthing when she gave birth but she was definitely channelling some hypnobirthing techniques. My Mum talks about breathing through her surges and imagining waves rolling over her to keep calm and in control. As you can see in the second picture she felt like a rock star after with a celebration punch to the air! ⭐️
