This Advanced Practice Week, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Dietetic Journal Club (DJC) - starting January 2026 and running bimonthly thereafter! 🗓️

Journal clubs are more than just a chance to read research, they’re an opportunity to:

💬 Engage in discussion and reflective practice

🤝 Collaborate across teams and specialties

📍 Vale of Leven Hospital – Cardiovascular Health Awareness Event

Our West Quadrant Dietitians recently took part in a cardiovascular disease awareness event at Vale of Leven Hospital 💙

This included information on ways to stop smoking, reduce alcohol, and increase activity, and of course a focus on healthy eating — helping patients and staff learn practical ways to reduce salt, sugar, and saturated fat for a healthier heart 🫀🥦

There was fantastic engagement throughout the day, with lots of great conversations and questions from both patients and staff 👏

🧂🍎 Remember — small changes add up to big results for your heart health!
