I don't know about you, but my memory of the newborn stage isn't super clear in my mind! I know I sat enjoying endless snuggles on the sofa, I know I spent hours upon hours just staring down at that little face, and I know I was in awe of how tiny those hands and feet were... but the rest is all a bit of a blur! 🤯
She was changing so quickly - daily at that stage and I felt like I couldn't quite keep up. The days seemed to merge together with the continuous cycle of feeding, nappy changes, sleepless nights and attempting to look after myself at the same time 😅
In fact, now when I look back at those photographs from the early days, it still takes me by surprise how little she actually was, and how different she looked even just a few weeks later 😯
This is why it's so important to document this time. It's precious because it's fleeting. Having it captured professionally means you can really preserve all their little features in the best way possible - those first smiles, the squishiest rosy cheeks, tummy rolls, tiny fingers and toes... all of it right there for you to re-live again at any moment! 🥰
