World Mental Health day is every day 😉🧡, so I’ll repost the morra too! We all have mental health, why is that…. we are human! When we understand ourselves and our conditioned patterns, that awareness brings freedom from staying stuck in a perceived state we believe we have no control over. When our perspective changes and we see things for what they are and not what we perceive them to be, the light switches on! Look after you always, not in a selfish way, in a selfless way and whilst this road of life can be bumpy, we are all just learning to fly, all we need to do is take that leap that leads us to a better understanding that fear is only trying to protect us. Happy day after Mental Health Awareness Day 😉🧡🌈

All you have to do to face that fear is breathe and let go! What a morning at Go Ape Aberfoyle It was challenging overcoming my fear of heights but I done it! Once you know what fear is, how it shows up in you and when it’s holding you back, it’s easier to work through it. Fear can be positive in times of real danger as it protects us, but often we are running unhelpful fear patterns that limit us from reaching our full potential. The next time you fear something, I promise if you use the breath as your guide, people you trust and take that one small step and let go, it will all be worth it! I feel like the queen of the jungle after that! PS this is my daughter not me in the video, but I promise I did do the zip slide! 🦍💃🏻🌈 👸

So not only have I been neglecting this page, I’ve also been neglecting my own self care! Instead of berating myself for not showing up for me, I’m curious as to why that is? I know the benefits of looking after me, I’m also aware when I’m not doing it, and awareness is the first key to change🧡 Ive worked on my self limiting beliefs and patterns for quite some time, so you’d think I’d have this sussed by now! I have skills! 😂 The answer is that none of us really have it all sussed all of the time, depending on our age, our neuropathways have been created over time so whilst change can often be quick, sometimes it’s the two step shuffle 💃🏻two steps forward and one step back! The good new is all we have to do is take one small step, work on one small thing, one wee day at a time! Keeping it simple! Three years ago I never did cold water therapy, I only stepped back into open waters again last week, after a 3 month gap…. But I still did cold showers every morning, so I never really went way back, why? because my habit of choosing cold water is a new neurological pathway. So if you think you’ve lost a skill or a good habit, is that really really true? Start again tomorrow, you might be pleasantly surprised … you know what they say it’s like riding a bike 🚴 when we unconditionally accept ourselves on the days we are not at our very very best, that’s when we grow! Have a wonderful weekend everyone! 🧡
