Wellbeing Coordinator Elaine accompanied some of our residents to the Monday Club at Uddingston Olde Parish Church this week.
It was Games Day, and everyone enjoyed getting involved in activities such as quoits, with plenty of laughs and friendly competition along the way. A lovely opportunity to connect with the community and have some fun together! 🎯😊 HC-One HC-One Scotland

Residents enjoyed a game of inflatable walking stick hockey, testing their aim and coordination while sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Activities like this keep everyone active, engaged, and enjoying time together.

She relaxed with fellow residents, cappuccino in hand, enjoying the music and memories together.

Resident Margaret set herself a personal challenge today, taking a walk around the garden and right round to the front of the home using her Zimmer frame.
Margaret shared how much she enjoys being out in the fresh air and sunshine, and it was wonderful to see her determination and positive spirit as she completed her walk. Moments like these highlight the value of staying active and making the most of the brighter spring days. ☀️🌿

A big thank you to Sandra Roy and everyone at Burnhead Church for leading our monthly church service held in the bar at Highgate. 🙏
Sandra kindly brought along Easter cards and chocolates for everyone, which residents thoroughly enjoyed. A lovely morning of reflection, community, and kindness as we begin to look ahead to Easter.

Residents enjoyed the famous Old Firm Derby this afternoon as Celtic F.C. took on Rangers F.C.. ⚽
With the match on the smart television and tablets around the home, everyone was watching any way they could. The atmosphere was lively, full of friendly rivalry, cheers, and plenty of football chat as residents came together to enjoy the big game. 🟢🔵
