'Daydreamer' by . How beautiful this is!
You can feel Lesley's love for animals and nature in her work. I have one of her prints - of a hare - hanging pride of place in my home. I had to have it when it stopped me in my tracks as I was walking past a local gallery many years ago.

This is Lesley's description of 'Daydreamer'.

This month's Blessings For The Animal Kin is tomorrow night at 7.30pm - the link to my Events page is below, with all the details of how it works and how you can add a name/names. This is a free monthly event that I facilitate, opening a space to extend our love and gratitude for the animal kind. The opportunity to add the name(s) of animal(s) will close 90 minutes before the ceremony, at 6pm.

You can add your own companion animals, shelter animals, farm animals, zoo animals, circus animals, wild animals, those who have passed over the Rainbow Bridge or all and any animals of the world.

There may be communications from companion animals, and should these arise , if you would like to receive these please do tick this option when adding the name(s) of the animals you would like to add. I can't take requests for these psychic insights at these events but they will be shared with you if they come through (please do ensure that your email will allow communications from VOLVA and are not sent to spam).
I work with a huge variety of animals so there is no animal too big or small, domestic or wild, to add.

Good morning! I'm putting together the Yule newsletter, which will be issued early December. Usually my newsletters are sent at each of the festivals of the Wheel Of The Year, but Yule is a little early because I'm a hibernator in Winter. I work at a very quick pace at everything outside my consultations but I don't like too much activity from the end of November until February - I joked the other day that I'll not be seen until Imbolc - as I follow the seasonal medicine and descend into the darkness. Flow, don't fight.

November is
My very first cat as an adult came into my life when he was around 15 years old. Many vets could not determine his age because, when he was picked up by a charity, they discovered that he had to have most of his teeth removed due to neglect. He'd had a home, if you could call it that; they kicked him out and moved house. 15 is approximately 76 years old in human years.

He was the most gentle and loving soul I ever met. Adopting this beautiful creature was the best thing I have ever done. Not one of the best things but THE ACTUAL best thing I have ever done in my life. He changed it.

I vowed that his remaining years would be the best of his life, that he would be completely adored, surrounded by love, and would want for nothing. And I was able to give him that for 5 years. It was truly awful when he died; there is a little hole in my heart that is just for him. But I will always be thankful that I got to share those years with him.

Offering a loving, safe home to a senior animal is one of the most beautiful things you can do for you both.
