We’re a grant-providing charity that aims to make a positive difference to children’s lives through the alleviation of the impact of poverty, financial hardship, disability, illness or socio-economic disadvantage. We’re proud to be the charity that receives funding from the Scottish Children’s Lottery. Every ticket bought directly benefits good causes for children in Scotland. We’re delighted to share a new video spotlighting Garnock Valley Pipes and Drums, a charity we proudly supported with a £1,000 award from the Bright Futures Fund.

This funding, made possible by everyone who plays the Scottish Children's Lottery and through our partners The Scotto and Jackpot Community Trust Community Trust, helps sustain their inspiring music tuition programme. Through free weekly chanter and snare drum lessons, young people across the Garnock Valley are learning not just music, but confidence, creativity, and connection to Scotland’s cultural heritage.

From after-school sessions at Geilsland Estate in Beith to outreach in local primary schools, Garnock Valley Pipes and Drums is helping children of all backgrounds find their rhythm and pride through the rich traditions of piping and drumming.
