Today we said a final farewell to a true gent and a very popular man from Nitshill. Thankfully the rain held off for our arrival at the Hurlet Crematorium

We are sad to announce the passing of the late Joe Smith.

Funeral to be held at the Hurlet Crematorium on Tuesday the 28th October 2025.

Yesterday we conducted the Funeral of the late John Barclay. It was a emotional day for the team as it was a family members funeral.

Big thank you to Alison from Inspiration Florist in Rutherglen for this great floral tribute which now sitting proudly in the Belair (Lawburn) where john used to drink.

John’s family have asked to remind everyone that the Funeral Cortege will be passing by The lawburn (Belair) at 1.30pm played by a piper then onto South Lanarkshire Crematorium for 2pm Service.

The family of the late John Barclay have asked us to share with you the funeral arrangements for anyone wishing to attend.

Johns cortege will leave from 29 Glendaruel Road at 1.25pm and will pass the The lawburn (Belair) at 1.30pm before proceeding onto the Crematorium.
