Highly recommend Karen from Acts of Dove for anyone looking to have a dove release for their loved ones funeral.

Karen goes that extra mile by creating a beautiful poem to represent your loved ones life while recording the release as a keep sake for the family.

If you are reading this because you are planning a funeral or a memorial just now, I am really sorry you are having to do that.

It is a lot to carry. You might be here because someone mentioned a dove release, or you have seen one before, or you are just looking for something that feels like “them” and are not sure what that is yet.

If you would like to talk it through, you are very welcome to send me a message. You do not need to have a clear idea or the right words. We can start with, “Here is who they were.” There is never any pressure. I have attended hundred of funerals with my doves now, so even if you just need someone to talk through that heavy stuff with, I'm here.

Sometimes we end up arranging something together. Sometimes it is simply a helpful chat. Both are completely okay.

The Hurlet Crematorium are holding there annual Christmas Memorial Service on Monday the 15th led by Libby Smillie.

There will be a chance during the service to write a message to your loved one to put onto there christmas tree in the chapel hall. Following the service there will be some light refreshments

Practise is well underway as we get ready for our 4th Christmas service Monday @1830.
All are welcome to come along and place a personal message on our tree during the service.

Christina is currently resting at home for any family and friends who would like to see christina and pay their respects before we take her on her final journey on Monday. There will also be a Rosary on Sunday night at 7pm at the family home.

Christina’s cortege will be leaving the family home at 12.20pm.

Today we said a final farewell to a true gent and a very popular man from Nitshill. Thankfully the rain held off for our arrival at the Hurlet Crematorium
