Children are a magnet for a variety of foot problems including verrucas, ingrown toenails and Athlete’s Foot, so today we’re sharing some tips to help you care for your child’s feet:
👣 Ensure your child is washing their feet and changing their socks daily, regularly alternating their footwear to allow it to dry out and protecting their feet with sandals or flip flops in public areas.
👣 If your child is super active consider buying a second pair of sports shoes. This is really important if they play sport several days in a row and use the same shoes for most of the year.
👣 Keep an eye on your child’s feet to regularly check for signs of any issues, in particular ingrown toenails, which can quickly become very painful.
