It is important you know the symptoms of bowel cancer as early detection and diagnosis can help.

Symptoms may include:

• Blood in your stool
• Changes in bowel habits
• Abdominal pain
• Lump in your abdomen
• Unexpected weight loss
• Tiredness or shortness of breath

Some of these symptoms can be cause by another condition, however, if you experience these symptoms over a three week period it is important you see your GP.

Parkinson’s disease presents challenges with walking and balance contributing to falls, loss of independence, and reduced quality of life. Rehabilitation aims to improve mobility and strength.

At the Ross Hall Physiotherapy Centre, our AlterG Anti-gravity treadmill® reduces up to 80% of weight-going through the body, allowing you to improve strength without bearing your full weight on your lower body and minimising the risk of falls.

We are looking for a Patient Liaison Officer (PLO) to come and join the Sales and Marketing Team at Ross Hall Hospital, becoming a crucial part of a really exciting and fast-paced department.

This is a full-time role, and those applying should be proficient in both numeracy and English (both verbal and written), as well as being proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), and have excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills.

The key duty of the PLO role is to liaise with patients, consultants, and other internal departments to ensure a smooth patient journey between consultation and procedure.
